Phil Wood sealed cartridge hub bearings

Phil Wood sealed cartridge hub bearings

Phil Wood bearings are compatible replacements for just about all manufacturer’s hubs using sealed bearings (not just Phil Wood). Please refer to the Specifications and Size Info below to determine which bearings may best meet your needs.

Phil's Standard bearings are an extremely high quality stainless steel cartridge bearing with a 100% Phil Waterproof Grease fill and have full contact seals to ensure maximum durability.

6000, 6901 and 6902 available with stainless steel bearings, 6001 and R8 available with stainless steel or Carbonyte bearings.

Phil's Carbonyte bearings are an extremely high quality stainless steel cartridge bearing with a 30% fill with proprietary Carbonyte grease and have a partial contact seal, and every internal specification has been optimized to produce a low rolling resistance.

Phil's Carbonyte bearings use a proprietary grease applied to provide protection against wear while allowing for the low rolling resistance you would expect from a ceramic bearing. Bearing seals are are not full-contact, so we do not recommend these bearings off road or in wet environments.
